Comment 2 Fabio Valentini 2025-12-22 15:29:58 UTC
The licensing here seems to be inconsistent.

The Cargo.toml license expression says "MIT" which would be OK, but the actual text in the LICENSE file is CC0-1.0, which wouldn't be.

Comment 3 Michel Lind 2025-12-22 20:40:39 UTC
Yeah, let me put up a PR changing it to MIT (which is what all the metadata files mention) and see what upstream says

Comment 4 Michel Lind 2025-12-22 21:01:28 UTC
Oh fun, the original project this is forked from is explicitly CC0-1.0 ... https://github.com/sogaiu/tree-sitter-clojure

Comment 5 Fabio Valentini 2025-12-22 22:46:18 UTC
Fun. So this probably won't be acceptable for a Fedora package, unless you want to as Fedora Legal for an exception.
