Hello. LibreOffice Writer is consistently crashing when I try to open a certain text document (attached). The document itself is simple, one page, just text, no macros whatsoever. This happens with LibreOffice 25.8.3.2 and at least some older versions. Opening the attached document Example_instantcrash.odt instantly crashes LibreOffice Writer (if hyphen-de is installed). The crash is not triggered on Ubuntu with the same Libreoffice / hyphen-version so it seems to be a Fedora-specific bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora Workstation 43 (Gnome) 2. Install Libreoffice 25.8.3.2 from the repositories 3. Install hyphen-de and hyphen-en 4. Open attached document Actual Results: Writer instantly crashes. Expected Results: Writer opens the document and doesn't crash. Additional Information: The issue is with the package hyphen-de. Somehow the hyphenation makes Libreoffice crashing. If the hyphen-de is removed, the attached document won't crash Libreoffice.

Did upgrading to 25.8.4.2 help?
25.8.4.2 crashes as well.
The attached example document is crashing LibreOffice 26.2.0.3 as well. @gwync, are you still looking into this issue?
Thank you for the reminder. I thought there might be an issue with hyphen-de, since it's ancient, but then no other application that uses it crashes with that text, so I think it's a LibreOffice bug. I filed it upstream.
