Description Alphonse Van Assche 2007-06-05 14:03:40 UTC
Description of problem:
Mylar crash when a bug is bug

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
eclipse-mylar-2.0-0.1.M2a.1.fc7
eclipse-mylar-bugzilla-2.0-0.1.M2a.1.fc7

tested JRE:
java-1.5.0-gcj-1.5.0.0-14.fc7
SUN jdk-1.6.0_02-ea

How reproducible:
Just open a bug report with the internal browser not disabled in the preference.

Actual results:
Eclipse crash

Expected results:
Be able to open bugs with internal browser activated.

Additional info:
The internal browser work with http and https web site here.

Temporary fix:
Disable the internal browser in the mylar preference page.

Andrew, I have add the SUN crash report because I don't know how to have one
with gcj.

oups,
Mylar crash when a bug is bug -> Mylar crash when a bug is open

Comment 3 Andrew Overholt 2007-06-11 20:21:59 UTC
I can't duplicate with either the Sun VM or gcj. What arch is this? It's odd
that the internal browser would work for http and https websites but not bugs.
Are you sure it's crashing on the bug report and not on attachments? I've had
crashes on attachments before and I think that's an embedded browser bug which
needs to be fixed.

Comment 4 Alphonse Van Assche 2007-06-12 09:47:51 UTC
Yes, eclipse crashed when a bug report was open but at the moment I connot
re-product this bug. I Have try to open attachment but don't see any problem
there too.

I have checked if an eclipse update have fixed this problem but the last update
was done here on 04 Jun and I have report this on 5 Jun. Maybe the firefox
update of 5 Jun have fix it??

All re-work like a charm now, so I close this bug.

Thanks for your investigations,
Alphonse
