Description Fedora Release Engineering 2026-01-28 17:37:46 UTC
fapolicy-analyzer failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f44

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=141151186

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_44_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix fapolicy-analyzer at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
fapolicy-analyzer will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 45,
fapolicy-analyzer will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Steve Grubb 2026-01-28 18:16:59 UTC
Root log has this:
Problem: nothing provides requested (crate(pyo3-log/default) >= 0.12.0 with crate(pyo3-log/default) < 0.13.0~)

Comment 5 John Wass 2026-01-28 19:08:05 UTC
Fixed in upstream, using pyo3 0.27 and pyo3-log 0.13. Package will updated once some python package changes (python-rx) are accounted for.
