Comment 1 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-02-05 16:52:07 UTC
It launches for me. Is your system up to date, and does running dnf distro-sync make a difference?

Comment 2 idiot 2026-02-06 13:29:52 UTC
I found the issue. I hadn't updated the remote transmission client that I connect to. If I launch transmission-qt after disabling my network connection, it no longer crashes.

Comment 3 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-02-06 13:36:21 UTC
Strange. Thank you for the update!

Comment 4 idiot 2026-02-06 13:42:08 UTC
Actually it still crashes after connecting to the up-to-date daemon

Comment 6 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-03-03 17:42:29 UTC
Does 4.1.1 help?

Comment 7 idiot 2026-03-03 21:17:04 UTC
No. Upstream fixed this with https://github.com/transmission/transmission/commit/144871ed5ec62d9b45f28774923ac83532eb1a2d but they don't have it in a release yet. It could be patched in.

Comment 8 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-03-03 21:57:18 UTC
Wonderful! Yes, absolutely, I'll get an update out ASAP.
