Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 44-final by Fedora user pbrobinson using the blocker tracking app because:

 Plus 2449677. Included in IoT Edition as a default package so would like to fix CVE-2026-25727, CVE-2026-33056 for GA images.

Discussed at 2026-04-06 blocker/FE review meeting: https://meetbot-raw.fedoraproject.org//blocker-review_matrix_fedoraproject-org/2026-04-06/f44-blocker-review.2026-04-06-16.00.html . Accepted as an FE: it's obviously good to fix CVEs in the shipped deliverables if possible (but this is not a blocker as neither CVE is Important or higher).

Sigh. This fell out of later RCs because it got closed by the F43 update. It's not in F44 RC-1.7. Sorry.
