As described in the issue upstream (https://github.com/transmission/transmission/issues/8123), transmission 4.1.0 doesn’t accept magnet links. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy the link `magnet:?xt=urn:btih:8e3f4283d1c8360d2f18544a8b166813086675a1&dn=archlinux-2026.02.01-x86_64.iso` to clipboard. 2. Open transmission-gtk and click `ctrl+u`. 3. You will see an error message about unsupported url. Actual Results: Unsupported url (because of protocol). Expected Results: Magnet links are supported by transmission. Additional Information: Fixes are https://github.com/transmission/transmission/pull/8277 (for GTK) and https://github.com/transmission/transmission/pull/8415 (for the command line)for 4.1.x (which will be included in 4.1.1).

Many thanks for having fixed this issue so fast, Gwyn. I can confirm it works perfectly fine for me now. Huge thanks, Pablo
BTW, I’d close both issues (this and #2438532) myself, but I don’t know whether any automated messages are pending.
