Description lpavan 2026-02-11 14:00:30 UTC
The "Email..." right-click action in Nautilus does not actually attach the selected file in Evolution compose window. This happens only with flatpak version of Evolution.

Version information:

- Fedora 44 Workstation (Pre-release)
- nautilus-50~beta-1.fc44.x86_64
- Evolution 3.58.2 (flatpak from registry.fedoraproject.org)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the "Files" app (Nautilus).
2. Right-click on any file (e.g., a `.pdf` or `.txt` file).
3. Select the "Email..." action from the context menu.
4. Wait for the Evolution compose window to open.

Actual Results:
Evolution opens a new compose window as expected, but the attachment list is empty. The file is not attached.

Expected Results:
The Evolution compose window should open with the selected file already attached to the draft.

Additional Information:
This issue does not reproduce with the RPM version of Evolution, which points to an incompatibility caused by sandboxing. I wasn't sure where to file this bug; if it needs to be filed against a different component or upstream, please let me know and I'll do that.
