The bluetoothctl command is broken in 5.86. EG a basic 'bluetoothctl list' returns nothing when it should return the local controller where it now returns nothing. On 5.85 I get: # bluetoothctl list Controller 11:22:33:44:55:66 fedora.local [default] # On 5.86 I get: # bluetoothctl list #
Same on f44
A fix is still being discussed upstream. In the meanwhile, you can use: echo list | bluetoothctl

$ bluetoothctl --version bluetoothctl: 5.86 $ bluetoothctl list Controller 28:0C:50:52:4E:F4 sestnactka [default] I believe that it is now working as the bug report suggests. Therefore I consider this to be verified.
$ rpm -q bluez bluez-5.86-4.fc44.x86_64
