It appears that libgcrypt 1.12.0 contains bugs / issues that break some GnuPG operations. For example, the sequoia-git test suite started to fail since the update to libgcrypt 1.12.0 with errors like gpg: key D89307BF217283E5/0CADEFD4111E53BB: error sending to agent: Bad secret key gpg: error reading '[stdin]': Bad secret key gpg: import from '[stdin]' failed: Bad secret key There's also a very similar report against Alpine Linux which also updated to 1.12.0 recently: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/issues/17973 Reproducible: Always
Note: downgrading libgcrypt to 1.11.2 fixes the issue on Alpine, as I just added to that issue.
I clicked through the bugs to the upstream tracker and sounds like this should be fixed with the libgcrypt 1.12.1 (bug #2435259) so updating to that.
