Jerry James noted in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2418196 that freerdp 3.23.0 seems to completely break remote desktop functionality for him, so I'm inclined to leave this out of the next candidate.
Remote desktop functionality is probably broken anyway, see https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-remote-desktop/-/issues/307. However, I agree that this might be problematic.
