Description of problem: After doing a fresh install of Fedora 7 on my laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C1020) . With the 2.6.22 Fedora 7 kernel update the drive is now recognized. However it doesn't actually work. Opening up a new bug ticket for it, #249209
