There's no security issue here, please review the upstream binutils security policy.  Please also file a bug report upstream with a clear reproducer.  AFAICT, the CVE description just looks like AI slop.

OK, looks like the commit reference was in the CVE page and not in the flaw bug. Still not a security issue.
