This is a binutils 2.26 bug, a 10-years old release.
Cannot reproduce with binutils-2.44. released Feb 2, 2025.
Current insight version 18.0.50.20260306 is based on a Mar 6, 2026 snapshot.
Cannot reproduce the bug either with used snapshot sources.
