Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cutter-re-2.3.4-6.el9 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. dnf install cutter-re Actual results: Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides python3-jupyter-client needed by cutter-re-2.3.4-6.el9.x86_64 from epel - nothing provides python3-notebook needed by cutter-re-2.3.4-6.el9.x86_64 from epel Expected results: successful installation
thank you I will try to raise the package rebuild requests for those.
There are already requests for python3-jupyter-client (bug 2158480) and python3-notebook (bug 2157769), which I linked to this bug when I filed it. However, those requests have both been open since 2023, so they may be blocked or not really feasible. Would you be ok with just having the cutter-re epel9 build untagged? That would remove it from the repos to avoid users hitting the uninstallable package, but the branch would still be active in dist-git and you could publish again with a rebuild as soon as all the dependencies are available. Alternatively, if you're not that interested in having cutter-re in epel9, you can retire the branch in dist-git. https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy-retirement/#process_never_installable
I've removed the epel9 tag from the cutter-re-2.3.4-6.el9 build to remove it from the repos for now.
