Description of problem:
/usr/bin/qp-decode, /usr/bin/qp-encode, /usr/bin/base64-encode, usr/bin/base54-decode are all not exectuable after the vm 8 update.
Mailed the maintainer as noted in changelog. release notes say "spec file cleanup", but obviously some errors introduced.
noted on i386, x86_64, and fc6 and f7.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install emacs-vm 8 rpm
In fact, it's nothing to do with the spec file cleanup - moving to the new
upstream version meant a lot of changes. Unfortunately I didn't spot that the
new version doesn't properly install the compiled executables (whereas the old
version did). Will fix shortly (trivial). Thanks for the report.
Have fixed this in version emacs-vm-22.214.171.1243-2.fc7. Have requested that this
build is pushed to updates (rather than updates-testing) so hopefully it should
appear in a few days.
In the meantime, you can pull the packages direct from koji just here:
emacs-vm-126.96.36.1993-2.fc7 has been pushed to the Fedora 7 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
