Fully updated Fedora 44 (installed in Boxes), gnome-shell-extension-background-logo-50~beta-2.fc44.noarch. The Fedora background logo is too transparent and hard to see. See the attached screenshot. There was no such issue on previous Fedora releases. Probably because of a different wallpaper? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 44 Workstation from latest iso. 2. See how the background logo looks. 3. Fully update the system. 4. See how the background logo looks.

Proposed as a Blocker and Freeze Exception for 44-final by Fedora user asciiwolf using the blocker tracking app because: The Fedora background logo (that is an important part of the Fedora branding) is too transparent and hard to see on Fedora 44 with the default wallpaper.
My solution is to use the white version of the logo instead.

AGREED RejectedFinalBlocker Discussed at the 2026-04-13 (blocker / freeze exception) review meeting: We agreed this isn't serious enough to constitute a violation of the artwork criteria. The watermark is present and visible, just a bit subtle; it's also not really an issue on the dark mode wallpaper. https://meetbot-raw.fedoraproject.org//blocker-review_matrix_fedoraproject-org/2026-04-13/f44-blocker-review.2026-04-13-16.00.log.txt
