pydantic-core is now included in pydantic starting with pydantic 2.13.0b1: https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic/blob/main/HISTORY.md#v2130b1-2026-02-23 https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic/pull/12481 AFAIU, pydantic 2.13 should then unblock matrix-synapse in F44+
(In reply to Xavier Bachelot from comment #5) > pydantic-core is now included in pydantic starting with pydantic 2.13.0b1: > https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic/blob/main/HISTORY.md#v2130b1-2026-02-23 > https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic/pull/12481 Indeed, they are now maintained in the same GitHub repository. They’re still separately versioned and released as separate PyPI packages, though, so it probably makes sense to keep them as separate source packages in Fedora for the time being. > AFAIU, pydantic 2.13 should then unblock matrix-synapse in F44+ That’s good to know. It’s likely that I may have time to work on updating Pydantic in the coming week or so. I’ll warn, however, that minor releases of Pydantic typically contain some potentially-breaking changes, and it’s best not to assume that Pydantic 2.13 will land in F44. See https://pydantic.dev/articles/pydantic-v2-13-release.
