When running some application requires SDL_image, it will show error : symbol lookup error: /lib64/libSDL3_image.so.0: undefined symbol: SDL_LoadPNG_IO, version SDL3_0.0.0 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Fedora 43 workstation live CD 2.`dnf install freerdp` 3. run `sdl-freerdp /u:xxx /p:xxx /h:xxx` Actual Results: sdl-freerdp shows error ``` liveuser@localhost-live:~$ sdl-freerdp /v:10.100.1.5 /u:vboxuser /p:vboxuser sdl-freerdp: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libSDL3_image.so.0: undefined symbol: SDL_LoadPNG_IO, version SDL3_0.0.0 ``` Expected Results: Run correctly Additional Information: Only after `dnf update SDL3`, sdl-freerdp run correctly. 1. What changes when `dnf install freerdp` ``` Upgrading: freerdp-libs x86_64 2:3.24.2-1.fc43 updates 3.6 MiB replacing freerdp-libs x86_64 2:3.16.0-4.fc43 0e44b8838a064239bd0106e9c9253add 3.5 MiB libwinpr x86_64 2:3.24.2-1.fc43 updates 1.2 MiB replacing libwinpr x86_64 2:3.16.0-4.fc43 0e44b8838a064239bd0106e9c9253add 1.2 MiB Installing: freerdp x86_64 2:3.24.2-1.fc43 updates 1.7 MiB Installing dependencies: SDL3_image x86_64 3.4.0-3.fc43 updates 258.0 KiB SDL3_ttf x86_64 3.2.2-2.fc43 fedora 124.6 KiB plutosvg x86_64 0.0.7-3.fc43 fedora 58.9 KiB plutovg x86_64 1.3.2-1.fc43 updates 264.9 KiB ``` 2. What changes when `dnf update SDL3` ``` Upgrading: SDL3 x86_64 3.4.0-3.fc43 updates 3.0 MiB replacing SDL3 x86_64 3.2.20-1.fc43 0e44b8838a064239bd0106e9c9253add 2.7 MiB ``` So i think when installing SDL3_image 3.4.0-3.fc43, SDL3 should also be update to 3.4.0-3.fc43 at the same time.
Bumped the minimum requirement.
