Description of problem:
I ran "up2date -u" and it tried to update httpd (I actually upgraded from 4.4 to
4.5). /var/www/html is a symlink to a NFS mounted directory where root doesn't
have write permissions.
Installer outputs the following error:
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /var/www/html: cpio: chown
There was a fatal RPM install error. The message was:
There was a rpm unpack error installing the package: httpd-2.0.52-32.2.ent
After removing the symlink system installed the rpm flawlessly and an empty html
directory was created.

Should be easy to reproduce
This is expected behaviour with RPM.
If you want to use some directory other than /var/www/html for the document
root, change the DocumentRoot directive in httpd.conf.
