Attempting to access valid file-schema URIs always causes ANRs. reporter: libreport-2.17.15 type: CCpp reason: dolphin killed by SIGABRT journald_cursor: s=2c1910e140e64b2c86a6ef7504aaa761;i=64c4e;b=b4c99d9b19e544f797a7be23a4416e52;m=3cd4c3ad4;t=652f6e4a8bfd7;x=47bf5140d9cda7a6 executable: /usr/bin/dolphin cmdline: /usr/bin/dolphin cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/app.slice/app-org.kde.dolphin-76825.scope/main.scope rootdir: / uid: 1000 kernel: 7.0.10-201.fc44.x86_64 package: dolphin-26.04.1-3.fc44 runlevel: /bin/sh: line 1: runlevel: command not found backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: KCrash::defaultCrashHandler comment: Attempting to access valid file-schema URIs always causes ANRs.
I have reported https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2477822#c13 upstream, at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=520792. OP, if your reproduction method is identical, close as UPSTREAM.
I am a total Linux newbie but I think the problem was mostly Google Drive folder. I'll report back when I switch to cachyOS KDE.
Considering that it goes through KIO (due to its custom URI schema, etcetera), that's not a surprise. Note that NEEDSINFOs are for *when* you need to report back.
