I see that this requires an update for rust-vergen, https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-vergen/pull-request/5: > Problem: nothing provides requested (crate(vergen) >= 9.1.0 with crate(vergen) < 10.0.0~) I also see that, in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-vergen/pull-request/5#comment-322768, Fabio Valentini wrote: > If possible, I would just not use vergen whereever that dependency comes from. It's a useless noop for packaging purposes because we don't have git repository information available during packaging.
Yes. I'm just finishing up the upgrade to 9.1.x after getting a fix merged upstream in the only other component that uses this. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-rd-util/pull-request/2 I might still patch this out of xrizer, but now we have rust-vergen-lib at 9.1.0 (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-vergen-lib), and rust-vergen at 0.8.x. My goal is to align rust-vergen* at 9.1.x and move on :)
Dropping this request stream.
