Description of problem: When starting conga on a cluster where the cluster services are not running, but ricci is, some of the nodes show up in the grey "unresponsive" state with the following error: "The ricci agent for this node is unresponsive. Node-specific information is not available at this time." The other node(s) are in the following red state: "Status: Currently not a cluster participant" [root@taft-01 ~]# ps -ef | grep ricci ricci 6217 1 0 15:32 ? 00:00:00 ricci -u 101 root 6707 6492 0 15:37 pts/0 00:00:00 grep ricci [root@taft-02 ~]# ps -ef | grep ricci ricci 6211 1 0 15:32 ? 00:00:00 ricci -u 101 root 6760 6489 0 15:37 pts/0 00:00:00 grep ricci [root@taft-03 ~]# ps -ef | grep ricci ricci 6207 1 0 15:32 ? 00:00:00 ricci -u 101 root 6689 6480 0 15:37 pts/0 00:00:00 grep ricci [root@taft-04 ~]# ps -ef | grep ricci ricci 6199 1 0 15:32 ? 00:00:00 ricci -u 101 root 6688 6473 0 15:37 pts/0 00:00:00 grep ricci Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ricci-0.10.0-2.el5 luci-0.10.0-2.el5 How reproducible: Often
This problem still exists in lastest build, moving back to assigned state.
Have you upgraded modcluster and ricci on all the nodes conga is managing?
I had only upgraded luci and ricci. After upgrading modcluster as well, this fix can be verified.
