This is a new test dependency for ureq v3, which is needed for cargo-deny v0.19.

Comment 2 Fabio Valentini 2026-06-29 14:34:51 UTC
Package was generated with rust2rpm, simplifying the review.

The package is 100% boilerplate except for disabled tests, which is reasonable and documented.

And no, rpmlint, "allocator" is not a typo.

The license text matches the SPDX reference for BSD-1-Clause, even if askalono doesn't give it a particularly high matching score.

✅ package contains only permissible content
✅ package builds and installs without errors on rawhide
🫤 test suite is run and all unit tests pass:
tests are disabled with reasonable justification
✅ latest version of the crate is packaged
✅ license matches upstream specification and is acceptable for Fedora
✅ license file is included with %license in %files
✅ package complies with Rust Packaging Guidelines

Package APPROVED.

Recommended post-import rust-sig tasks:

- set up package on release-monitoring.org:
  project: $crate
  homepage: https://crates.io/crates/$crate
  backend: crates.io
  version scheme: semantic
version filter (*NOT* pre-release filter): alpha;beta;rc;pre
  distro: Fedora
  Package: rust-$crate

- set bugzilla assignee overrides to @rust-sig (optional)
