If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem. If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks. P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors. To reproduce, use the koji/local repo only, e.g. in mock: $ mock -r fedora-45-x86_64 --config-opts mirrored=False install python3-openvino P.P.S. (The same script that posted this comment will eventually close this bugzilla when the fixed package reaches the repository, so you don't have to worry about it.) or - Move this bug to ASSIGNED if you plan on fixing this, but simply haven't done so yet. or - Orphan the package if you no longer plan to maintain it. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 45 development cycle. Changing version to 45.
Hello Pavel and Artyom, are you gonna handle this issue or do you want me to fix it?
I was on sabbatical and just got back. If you can fix it before I get to it, that would be great.
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openvino/pull-request/12 Please help to run CI
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openvino/pull-request/12 was merged and never built. It si still not installable. This bug is still in NEW, and the package is now orphaned due to https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/#_package_removal_for_long_standing_ftbfs_and_fti_bugs If any of you intend to get this fixed, please move the bugzilla to ASSIGNED, claim the package back at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openvino (left column, Take button), and build it with the fix in f45 and rawhide. If you need help with any of those steps, please ask for it.
I'd like to take the package, but got following error: 'Unable to change the point of contact: You must be a packager to adopt a package.' However, https://forge.fedoraproject.org/packaging/sponsors/issues/791 this request was closed. I've re-login into the acc few times, use force logout + even clean cache and proceed with hard reload in Chrome - doesn't help.
Open https://src.fedoraproject.org in an anonymous browser window and log in as aanokhov. Verify by looking at https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/aanokhov/groups -- it should list the packager group if it worked (it currently indeed does not)
Many thanks, Miro! Incognito mode did the trick. I'm now working on getting everything built and applying the fix to Rawhide.
