Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-08-04 03:19:35 UTC
Source: Internal security audit — Streams for Apache Kafka / Kroxylicious f001
Upstream project: Kroxylicious (Red Hat-owned, github.com/kroxylicious/kroxylicious)
Upstream advisory: N/A — Red Hat-owned code. Disclose via kroxylicious-security

Affected code:
- AzureKeyVaultEdek.java — validates vaultName with only !isBlank, not VAULT_NAME_PATTERN regex
- KeyVaultClient.java — unvalidated vaultName string-concatenated into Key Vault URL; bearer token attached regardless of destination

Fix status: Patch exists in scan-mw but not yet merged upstream. Requires applying VAULT_NAME_PATTERN to wire-deserialized vaultName.
