Description Omkar 2007-08-13 19:44:47 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create virtual host on local http server, copy FC7 DVD to it
2.Add URL to /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo as baseurl, comment out mirrorlist and
(old) baseurl
3.Try to add/remove any program.

Actual results:
1. yum crashes.
2. Application closes when chosen to debug.

Expected results:
1. Shall take installation from local source.
2. Shall be debuggable if crashed.

Additional info:
Crash stack attached.

Need feature in pirut/yum to detect package versions both on local source and on
repos. If those packages are present in local installation source, pirut/yum
shall not download them.

This should be fixed with yum 3.2.2 (may still be in updates-testing)
