Can you run 'rpm -q fedora-release'?
[root@hoho2 sql-ledger]# rpm -q fedora-release fedora-release-7-3 ALSO - a few minutes ago, I did: [root@hoho2 en]# rpm -q pirut.rpm rpmdb: Lock table is out of available locker entries rpmdb: Unknown locker ID: 7f5 error: db4 error(22) from db->close: Invalid argument error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Cannot allocate memory (12) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm package pirut.rpm is not installed [root@hoho2 en]# ====== So, I did a reboot. This cleared up the problem. I can use pirut again ===== ALSO, I tried upgrading on a similar system (but not as 'uptodate') It wanted to upgrade the pirut module Clicking on 'details' it said pirut - 1.3.9-1.fc7.noarch upgdates pirut-1.3.7-1.fc7.noarch I did not upgdate this module, but came back to this system to see that the reboot (and relabel) had completed - then saw your message too
