This Change was approved July 21, comfortably ahead of the Beta freeze. The "testable" deadline for F45 features was August 11 and the "100% code complete" deadline was August 25. This Change clearly did not meet either deadline.

This is a potentially very disruptive Change. I do not think it is appropriate to land it this late. I think at this point we should say it has missed the boat and defer to F46.

FEDORA-2026-0efcf88ca2 has been pushed to the Fedora 45 testing repository.
Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command:
