In the past we've always tried to include whatever was packaged from GNOME at that time Fedora Beta release and this time we're asking for including GNOME 50.rc https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2026-494d8c11bd for Fedora 45 Beta.

Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 45-beta by Fedora user tpopela using the blocker tracking app because:

 In the past we've always tried to include whatever was packaged from GNOME at that time Fedora Beta release and this time we're asking for including GNOME 50.rc https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2026-494d8c11bd for Fedora 45 Beta.

Discussed at the 2026-09-07 (blocker / freeze exception) review meeting:

This is a huge update very close to the Beta release, and also causes an Anaconda problem that hasn't been resolved yet. We will accept it, but only if the detected Anaconda issue gets resolved first (or turns out to be less severe than expected).

In the end we signed off Beta-1.3 for release without this. Dropping FE status.
