## tkn CLI installed from network without checksum or signature verification

**Component:** konflux-operator-tasks

CI installs the `tkn` CLI from a network download without verifying its published checksum or sigstore signature, allowing a compromised distribution channel to substitute a malicious binary.

### Remediation
Download the published `checksums.txt` for the release, verify with `sha256sum -c`, and additionally verify the sigstore signature (`cosign verify-blob`). Alternatively use a SHA-pinned setup action for tkn.
