Description of problem: After adding the required lines to xorg.conf to get the wacom tablet working, the wacom modules won't load. The xorg.0.log complains about the following: (II) LoadModule: "wacom" (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//wacom_drv.so dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//wacom_drv.so: undefined symbol: __stack_chk_fail_local (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//wacom_drv.so (II) UnloadModule: "wacom" (EE) Failed to load module "wacom" (loader failed, 7) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): linuxwacom-0.7.6.4-4.fc8 and linuxwacom-0.7.6.4-2.fc7 Steps to Reproduce: 1. edit xorg.conf 2. (re)start X Actual results: wacom modules isn't loaded, wacom-tablet only working as a mouse Expected results: working wacom-tablet in absolute-mode. Additional info: I did found some info on the linuxwacom-discuss mailing-list http://www.mail-archive.com/linuxwacom-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net/msg00604.html which suggest it could be an compile-flag issue?

Fixed 0.7.6.4-3.fc7 and 0.7.8.3-2.fc8. As soon as those packages are out, please test them and report the results here.
Thanks. I've tested 0.7.6.4-3.fc7 and 0.7.8.3-2.fc8 on 32bit platforms. The error-message is gone and the tablet is working fine on both.
