The /usr/bin/smbpasswd file should be in samba-common not samba
Users need smbpasswd to be able to change their passwords on remote samba
servers from the unix prompt (using the -r option)


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. just rpm rpm -qpl samba and rpm -qpl samba-common
	

Actual Results:  you'll see what package it is in and what package it needs
to be in


Expected Results:  it should be in samba-common

its a 1 line change in the spec file.

I'll post the "patch" if need be.

Two lines, actually. You need the manpage too. :)

Will be fixed in samba-2.0.7-27.
