Description Seth Vidal 2001-01-31 22:14:46 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.16-3 i686)

The /usr/bin/smbpasswd file should be in samba-common not samba
Users need smbpasswd to be able to change their passwords on remote samba
servers from the unix prompt (using the -r option)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. just rpm rpm -qpl samba and rpm -qpl samba-common

Actual Results: you'll see what package it is in and what package it needs
to be in

Expected Results: it should be in samba-common

its a 1 line change in the spec file.

I'll post the "patch" if need be.

Two lines, actually. You need the manpage too. :)

Will be fixed in samba-2.0.7-27.
