2. On welcome screen, scroll to bottom of language selection box.
3. Select languages progressively, from the bottom, upwards, until error is raised (within first few non-english character languages).
Actual Results:
Modal installation failed dialogue raised.

Expected Results:
Language selection successful.

So I was able to trigger this, but into a slightly different error - I scrolled down to the list & started clicking the individual languages one by one, going up. At some point, the translations stopped being applied - it would just get stuck on the last applied translation. The UI would still react to click but the translation would not change.

But I did not see any modal error dialog.

Oh, correction - there as no dialog, so I clicked next & then back.
Then the dialog showed up.
And then the screen refreshed & the dialog is gone, oops!

This was with Fedora-Silverblue-Installer-Rawhide-20260929.n.0.x86_64.iso & Anaconda 45.27.

Comment 4 Martin Kolman 2026-10-14 11:27:43 UTC
So this might have been fixed in newer images - I tried again with Fedora-Silverblue-Installer-Rawhide-20261014.n.0.x86_64.iso that has Anaconda 46.1 & was not able to trigger the issue.
