I realized that the system had two disks with an existing storage layout, including a Stratis pool on one of them. ### Steps to Reproduce 1. Prepare a virtual machine with two disks: - `/dev/vda` (20 GiB): existing ext4 and Btrfs partitions. - `/dev/vdb` (15 GiB): an existing Stratis pool (`pool1`) containing a filesystem (`home`). 2. Boot the Fedora 45 Server DVD installer. 3. Open the Installation Destination screen. 4. Select only `/dev/vda` as the installation target, leaving `/dev/vdb` unselected. 5. Choose automatic partitioning to create a standard Fedora storage layout. 6. Start the installation. ### Actual Result Anaconda crashes during storage configuration. The logs show a segmentation fault in `dm_task_get_names()` during storage teardown, followed by a D-Bus disconnection error in the graphical installer. ### Expected Result Anaconda should successfully install Fedora on the selected disk using a standard storage layout, without crashing or modifying the existing Stratis pool on the unselected disk. ### Environment - Fedora 45 Server DVD - Anaconda 45.27-2.fc45 - Architecture: x86_64 - Virtual machine with two disks

I cannot reproduce the issue any more with the above update. I consider the issue fixed and verified.
FEDORA-2026-3722c48e11 (libblockdev-3.5.0-5.fc45 and python-blivet-3.14.2-4.fc45) has been pushed to the Fedora 45 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.
