Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process. ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a memory leak in the YUV encoder, which fails to release allocated memory when a specific operation fails. Attackers can supply crafted input that triggers the failing encoder operation, leaking memory and potentially exhausting resources to cause a denial of service.
