Description Ganesh 2026-10-14 15:39:35 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost. The vhost-user SET_MEM_TABLE mmap path does not adequately validate frontend-supplied region size before mapping, which may lead to denial of service in the host vhost backend. Integer-overflow and zero-size-after-align checks are already present; the remaining size check is as reported by the DPDK vhost maintainer.
