Description Vladimir Vasilev 2026-10-15 17:37:53 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

The fix for CVE-2026-12996 was incomplete. A use-after-free in OpenVPN 2.6.0 through 2.6.22 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.7 allows remote authenticated peers to potentially cause a denial of service or leak memory via crafted packets during TLS session promotion or expiry.

Comment 1 Frank Lichtenheld 2026-10-18 07:21:18 UTC
2.7.8 has been released to all supported versions of EPEL 10
