OpenJDK upstream advisory: https://openjdk.org/groups/vulnerability/advisories/2026-10-24 It links the following mitigation instructions: https://openjdk.org/emudhra These instructions provide step-by-step guidance on how to remove affected root certificates from the CA bundled distributed with OpenJDK. Related commit seems to be: https://github.com/openjdk/jdk27u/commit/549d208fc7b77d4a356f241d09ab19e1048e204b which removes 4 root certificates related to eMudhra. Note that CVE-2026-91403 was previously assigned to eMudhra related fixes in Oracle Java and OpenJDK. Those fixes attempted to block only the intermediate CAs with weak private keys, but they were later found to be insufficient.
