Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process. FreeRDP 3.29.0 before 3.32.0 contains a double free in the client's async-update message proxy, which shallow-copies the parser-owned PolygonSC or PolygonCB points array when numPoints is zero, so both the queue consumer and parser cleanup free it. A malicious RDP server can send a point-bearing polygon order followed by a zero-point order to crash a client with +async-update enabled.
This issue is fixed in FreeRDP 3.32.0. Fedora currently ships freerdp 3.32.2 in all supported branches (F43, F44, F45 and Rawhide), so this flaw is no longer present. Closing as ERRATA.
