Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process. FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability where the /restricted-admin option fails to suppress CredSSP credential delegation, sending the cleartext password to the RDP server. A compromised or man-in-the-middle destination host can decode TSPasswordCreds and the Client Info PDU to obtain reusable administrative domain, username, and password values.
Fixed in FreeRDP 3.32.0 (upstream). Fedora 43, 44, 45 and Rawhide ship freerdp 3.32.2, which contains the fix. Closing as ERRATA.
