dmesg

1. Please describe the problem:
When applications (qcam, chrome etc) use the built-in ipu7 + ov08x40 based camera, the captured image is upside-down
similar to #2440581, #2510889

dmidecode -s system-product-name:
XPS 16 DA16260

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:
7.2.13-200.fc44.x86_64

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
*first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 :
don't know

4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce
   the issue below:
always, just start camera

5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the
Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by
   ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``:

6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?:
no

Hi

Thank you for reporting the issue

can you provide the information?
1. the result of `ls -l /sys/bus/acpi/devices/`
2. the DMI_PRODUCT_NAME and DMI_SYS_VENDOR (should be "Dell Inc.")

The following method gets the DMI_PRODUC_NAME
1. `sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name`
2. It can be found in sysfs `cat /sys/class/dmi/id/product_name`

The DMI_SYS_VENDOR can be found by
1. sudo dmidecode -s system-manufacturer
2. cat /sys/class/dmi/id/sys_vendor

Hi,

The test build can be found at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=151808137

You can download the test kernel from the URL after it is built successfully. (I hope :))
If the build fails, please let me know

Thank you

tested this build looks good. Video orientation is correct

Awesome, thank you for the testing.

I'll prepare the fix and submit it upstream, and then bring it back to Fedora.
