Description Ronit Dey 2026-11-02 10:38:22 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

Prometheus through 3.15.1 contains a credential leak vulnerability that allows attackers to capture Azure AD or Google IAM bearer tokens by redirecting remote_write requests to another host. Attackers controlling the remote-write endpoint or a redirecting server can return a 3xx to their host and replay the token, for example to write metrics to the victim's backend.

This CVE refers to an issue in the "github.com/prometheus/prometheus" Go package, which is not used by syncthing. Not sure why bugs were filed against packages that use "github.com/prometheus/common" instead.
