Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process. FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains an improper certificate validation vulnerability in tls_verify_certificate() that accepts Common Name fallback despite non-matching SAN entries and matches IP literals against DNS strings. Man-in-the-middle attackers holding a certificate from a client-trusted CA can bypass server identity checks to intercept RDP sessions, including keystrokes, clipboard, and screen content.
