The Perl bindings for pilot-link 0.12.2 work now and are useful for other
packages such as syncbbdb for synching Palm and the Big Brother Database (BBDB):

I have written a patch for the spec file against the current CVS HEAD of devel
branch. It also does a few other fixes:

1. the License tag from "tcl" to "TCL" to pass the rpmlint check
2. adds some important missing README documentation files such as README.usb

pilot-link-0.12.2-7.fc8 has been pushed to the Fedora 8 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with 
 su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update pilot-link'
