Description Thilo Mezger 2001-02-27 11:02:59 UTC
KDE's multi-media player ("noatrun"?) crashes immediately after being
started.

Comment 1 Bernhard Rosenkraenzer 2001-02-28 10:10:32 UTC
Doesn't happen here (2.1-2). Is your soundcard configured correctly?

Comment 2 Thilo Mezger 2001-02-28 10:15:54 UTC
OK, this machine has a sound-card which is not supported by Linux. True.
But still, that's not a reason to dump core.

This is probably more a KDE problem than a Red Hat problem though.

Comment 3 Joe Acosta 2001-08-15 02:54:39 UTC
It crashes with my sound card and it IS configured correctly...

alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L >/dev/null 2>&1
|| :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S >/dev/null 2>&1 || :

emu10k1                46464   1 (autoclean)
ac97_codec              8960   0 (autoclean) [emu10k1]
soundcore               3408   4 (autoclean) [emu10k1]

it did not work with the default RH 7.1 kernel either...

no back trace either
