Description of problem: Some of my unconfined applications can't read my font configuration. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.0.8-8.fc8 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run mugshot. 2. Wait for it to try to pop up a window. Actual results: time->Mon Sep 24 11:47:47 2007 type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1190648867.000:129): arch=c000003e syscall=21 success=no exit=-13 a0=88a8d0 a1=4 a2=ff656d6e622d7273 a3=881caf items=0 ppid=1 pid=6523 auid=500 uid=500 gid=500 euid=500 suid=500 fsuid=500 egid=500 sgid=500 fsgid=500 tty=(none) comm="mugshot" exe="/usr/bin/mugshot" subj=system_u:system_r:unconfined_t:s0 key=(null) type=AVC msg=audit(1190648867.000:129): avc: denied { read } for pid=6523 comm="mugshot" name=".fonts.conf" dev=dm-0 ino=8382332 scontext=system_u:system_r:unconfined_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:user_fonts_config_t:s0 tclass=file Additional information: It seems to pop up the window and render text regardless of this, so maybe we don't need to allow it. This message is from mugshot, but I got similar denials logged for gajim and gnome-typing-monitor.
