Microsoft Intellimouse (PS/2) not detected during installation of
Wolverine. The install program takes about 15 seconds during the "probing
for mouse type" phase, and reports a "generic 3 button Mouse (PS/2)".
I can manually select "Microsoft Intellimouse PS/2" and continue the
install process with no additional problems. ie. the wheel works fine in
Xfree86.

Additional information:
Mouse Model#: 68874
Serial ports: empty (nothing connected)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use Wolverine boot disk
2.
3.

Actual Results: generic 3 button mouse (PS/2) detected

Expected Results: Microsoft intellimouse PS/2 detected

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 2001-03-08 23:31:21 UTC
All PS/2 mice are the same to the probe.
