Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Anabel to start up Brasero or some other CD/DVD burning app and to duplicate her Fedora 8 CD/DVD and give it to her friends. Additional info:
It didn't make it for Fedora 8, so please consider it for Fedora 9 Thank you.
This is in F8 Nautilus. Just pop in a DVD or CD, wait for it to mount and right click the icon that pops up. In the context sensitive menu select the 'Copy Disk...' option. This will give you the option of copying to an iso file or directly to the same DVD/CD writer drive (or any other DVD/CD writer drives you may have). If you select the same drive the media is in it will prompt you to unload your media and put a blank disk in once it has finished copying the iso. If you want this to be an icon on the installed desktop or perhaps a item on the live-cd itself that is perhaps easy to do with a simple shell script and a enhancement bug should be filed on the liveCD component. If you want enhancements to nautilus-cd-burner such as better UI please file them upstream with GNOME. Thanks.
