Description Craig Kelley 2001-03-12 17:59:25 UTC
Why doesn't anaconda ask to run sndconfig as the last thing it does upon
installation? Perhaps some warning such as: "Detecting ISA sound cards
may render your system frozen, but it usually works -- would you like me to
auto-detect your sound card now? If you choose to not do so now, you can
always run the 'sndconfig' program as the root user later on."

And then on the next screen:

"Detecting sound card now.. If your system freezes at any point, then
please reboot; your system will not have sound support (you will need to
install the driver yourself)."

This has come up before, it's not going to happen.

Native isapnp stuff and PCI stuff will get set up anyway.
